.soul campaign revival
"Did you really think I would let you forget my story? My legend dates back to the 12th century..."
Congratulations! You arrived to Death City just in time for the holidays. Rumour has it that Excalibur just couldn't let the season pass without gracing the entire multiverse with yet another retelling of his magnificent story, so he pulled a few strings to make this happen, but no one really knows if that's true or not. Have you been here before or are you brand new to the city? Are you a Meister or a Weapon? (In case you're a Weapon, don't forget that throwing yourself down a flight of stairs is a great way to find out what your Weapon form is!) Here, have a brand new communicator and the key to your new living quarters. And for the love of Shinigami, don't press the SOS button unless it really is an emergency.
Welcome to the SC revival post, and Happy Holidays!soul_campaign was a jamjar rp set in the Soul Eater verse that ran from June 2009 until its endgame in August 2014 (June 2009 - October 2010 in game). Some characters chose to stay in the city after endgame while others chose to return to their worlds; others came and went as the game progressed. Feel free to jump in and relive your days at SC, or skip right ahead to present day and revisit the city years after the war ended. Why not throw new characters into the mix as well? The sky is the limit! Just play nice and have fun!
AUDREY PARKER | HAVEN | MEISTER
Audrey was in Death City for a limited time, when everything in her world seemed like it was falling apart and she was trying desperately to piece it back together. She didn't know her own true identity, just that her personality had been siphoned from a random person on the other side of the country, and she seemed to have had several of them over the last century at least, picking up new traits and abilities as each one passed. She was hunting down a serial killer, trying to find her missing son, and keep her on again off again boyfriend/partner from dying - or staying dead. While in Death City, she roomed with her Weapon, a friend from home named Dwight, whose Trouble back in Haven was being the resident bullet magnet, and, ironically enough, his Weapon form was a gun, which worked well enough for this FBI agent-turned local detective. She worked for the Detective Agency to pay the rent, and she was very defensive of the short-lived friendships she'd made while in beautiful Death City, even as the locals rioted around them.
NOW:
[Audrey hasn't been gone too long, it seems, but to her, it feels like forever. She's figured out the secrets to her past, saved her town of Haven, and restored what she could of her family. She wishes Nathan and James had made it to Death City with her, but if her last stay was any indication, this wouldn't be too long a visit.
As she walks through the buildings and alleys, wondering where her old friends and roommate have all gotten to, Audrey knows that, no matter what adventures await her this time- She is badly out of practice.
But that won't stop her. She heads for the agency building - or at least where she remembers it to be.]
